[ In this sort of instance, Samatoki's open to a lot of things. He's receptive because it's not like what they're going to do is anything bad. Any other time, he'd probably shut certain ideas out just because he's a cranky ho. ]

[Thinking about it, he was in her hands almost literally last time. Hmm.]

Alright! Let's see, since we're still getting to know each other, why don't we go to one of the shopping malls. It's one way of learning about each other, by looking around at what we like. And then we can go have a meal.

[Look...she knows that dates are either extravagant or lowkey, and she hasn't read up on this yet SHE HASN'T PLANNED AHEAD.]

[coasts]

Sure. Show me around.

[ That totally works for him! Samatoki's taking this in stride. It's all casual. It's all cool. ]

[hoasen]

Then, it's a date--[COUGHS.]

Anyway, when would you like to do this?

[Good thing he is taking in stride.]

[ ... He's going to need some time to prepare, too. ]

When're you free? S'not like I have a job yet or anythin'. I'm free whenever.

[hoasen]

[And so does she. So don't say today, don't say today--]

Anytime, I don't have work either at the moment. I guess I brought food over today so in the coming days?

[ He doesn't mind deciding if she doesn't want to. That's fine! ]

How's this weekend, then?

[hoasen]

[Teamwork! This is what it is.]

I'm available then, so that sounds wonderful. Let's start early. Not too early, in case you would like to sleep in. [She's an early riser herself.] A little bit before lunch?

[coasts]

You gotta tell me where you're stayin' so I know where to go.

[ He'll pick her up instead of just them meeting up somewhere. ]

[hoasen]

[She was going to ask him why, until she realises it was because he was going to pick her up.]

Oh! It's...wait.

[She takes out her notepad and pen, and quickly writes it down for him. Down to the floor and apartment number, of course.]

[ Great! He'll buy some flowers for her before visiting. It'll be nice. He'll prepare properly. Romance isn't his strong suit—definitely not—and he's not sure where this may lead, but it might be fun. It's not like he gets a chance like this where he's from. Priorities are different there.

With no territory battles, though... the hell is he to do? ]

I'll pick you up at 10:30. Should be enough time before lunch to go around.

[hoasen]

[Don't worry, she's the most practical person and so romance is a beautiful notion, but she's realistic to know it's not always possible. Everything he's planning will be a wonderful surprise to her. But also he's right. What are they meant to do here? It's almost like the world's weirdest vacation, and she has plenty of spare time.]

That sounds suitable, I will be ready by then. [EARLY RISER.]

[ Samatoki doesn't want a vacation.............. he needs to overthrow the government!!! 😑 He's even at a loss on what to do. He just walks around and tries to learn the ins and out of this place. There's no mission, no set goals, and that's annoying.

Riou's here, at least. It helps with him not knowing what to do, exactly. ]

Anythin' else you wanted to tell me?

[hoasen]

[SHE'S BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT. Which okay, if it was her from that time, she would've wanted to go home immediately, that is for certain. Still, after it was over, she found other duties and purposes. Such is life.

For now, her idea is how to get home, but she's doing it at an easy pace. Which means...vacation.]

Oh...that should be all. Other than I hope you enjoy everything here, it's all for you.

You made a lot.

[ It's all for him, though, so he's not gonna complain. In fact, saying it's a lot isn't a complaint, either! He's just stating a fact.

... he takes a bigger bite of the pie just so he can eat quicker. He'll gobble it all up if she doesn't stop him. She made this for him, after all! He won't let her efforts go to waste. ]

[hoasen]

Better a lot than too little, as a guest. And, you really did a lot for me.

[She used his shower, wore his clothes, and stayed over so that it was really nice. And so when she watches him eat so heartily, she can't help but smile.]

What do you usually like to eat? I can make it for you.

[coasts]

[ That's such a thoughtful offer, but Samatoki flaps a hand dismissively as he swallows one of his large bites. ]

I'll make it for you. I grill a mean steak. Sides, too.

[ She's not the only one who can cook! But ah... they're making so many plans??? Oh my. ]

[hoasen]

[He didn't want anything to eat? But then she sits up, eyes widening at his offer. She can't help it, she also loves to eat.]

I do enjoy steak! And sides! Only if it isn't a bother...I am curious about your cooking!

[They could cook together, she thinks! And look at that! Look, she likes spending time with him, regardless.]

[coasts]

[ Steak is his fave... please just feed him steak forever. Although he'll die from the amount of Chroma needed to buy a good steak ]

We can do that another time, then. I feel like we have all the time in the world here, anyway.

[ They can cook together! She can come over early and he can be his assistant in the kitchen. Of course, that's such a soft idea that it doesn't occur to Samatoki. ]

[hoasen]

[Meat is just Good so you know what he's getting steak forever. Especially since he's good! So she'll find him good steak and make some for him (and with him) and they'll save so much on the services fee.]

I'm looking forward to it! [And she does, as she straightens up and clasps her hands.] Likewise. I'm glad that I got to meet you, Samatoki, I think we'll be able to do a lot with our time.

[COOKING TOGETHER!!! She'll be his best assistant, she promises. But thankfully she can think of such ideas, unlike him unless he's being soft.]

Which means, one day we can cook together too. [See.]

[ Cooking together, huh? It doesn't seem like such a bad idea. Hopefully the two of them would actually get along well for that to happen.

Samatoki's got a rather explosive temper, after all. She'll have to see it when he interacts with others. Sen... not so much. She's got his respect and he does consider her a little more than a friend. What that "more" means, he hasn't actually defined for himself yet. ]

Are you excited?

[hoasen]

[She'll be looking forward to it nonetheless! Food is an artform, and she would love to share it with him.

As for his temper? She's surrounded by all kinds of people that this is something she wouldn't fault entirely. After all, her own has been known to be secretly powerful. Besides, she hasn't witnessed it yet because he's just been good to her.

So she eagerly nods, leaning forward a little.]

I am. Once I get time, I'm going to prepare for it immediately. [She didn't even tsun that?!] What about you?

[coasts]

[ Samatoki hasn't had a reason to flip out at Vietnam.

If she ever meets Ichiro though........... that'll be the day. ]

Yeah, I guess. [ He'll be very earnest about this, too. She's already seen more of him than she should before a first date. ] Haven't gone on one in a while.

[ Though that last bit? It's mumbled a little softly, and is even accompanied by him eating the last bite of the pastry in front of him. ]

[hoasen]

[That man is floating around here though. Hmm.

But it looks like it makes the two of them, since she hasn't really done anything like that either. Meet someone, get incredibly physically attracted to the point that with a nudge, all gloves are off (literally).

Also, she heard that. So she clears her throat while looking to a corner in the ceiling.]

I don't...really go on many dates either. [If that makes him feel better.]

[ Oh, damn. She heard that.

Samatoki tries to keep his cool, but his curiosity peeks through, anyway. ]

Why's that?

[ Hopefully she says it's not because of what she is. ]
