Samatoki pushes the door open into the convenient store. It's a pretty big one but not that big to be considered a grocery. He intends to just buy the set meals and reheat in his apartment than cook since it saves money. ]

Oh! [Okay so she did say she could've tried, but she's not entirely sure how either.] Do you have an example?

With the door open, she walks inside, a nice convenient store. The range of produce is pretty limited, so she looks around, wondering what he was thinking of getting.]

[ Samatoki looks around. While the convenient store may be big, there aren't that many people. It's not like he's embarrassed to rap in public. He's a figure at home, after all. He just doesn't want Vietnam to be embarrassed.

While a beat doesn't follow them, he makes one up in his head. He counts, following a rhythm he's set, then begins until his flow is set, as well. It does sound good despite there not being an audible beat. ]

And he's just nonchalantly picking up various things and putting it in his basket. ]

[ He makes his way to the chillers and plucks out a bunch of beers from it. Into the basket they go! ]

Practice makes perfect, no? I guess one must start somewhere, how I am like with cooking. Though I guess one needs to be good at music--...ah, that reminds me, I do need some drinks.

[Except not beer, so she peruses the freezer a little bit away bit leaning to the side to get a better look.]

[ With a bunch of microwaveable meals, beer, and some other stuff like tissues, tooth paste, and the like, he heads to the counter to pay, though he waits by the side for Vietnam to finish.

[She has a sense when it comes to keeping time and beats because of just everything in life. Is she good at rhythm? Not sure. She doesn't even often dance, for once.

With the drinks in hand, she follows after him so that she could pay for the goods she had to buy last minute, before their quest to the flowershop.]

I had to pay off a few things for my apartment, bought some groceries before, and I have a little left for the flowers, so...

There's a low grumble from Samatoki's throat before he moves all his groceries to one arm, tucking them there. Then he takes her free hand and laces their fingers together and starts walking to the exit.

With the items paid for, she was ready to go, except Samatoki takes her hands in his, fingers laced so it wasn't like he was dragging her away. It was genuine handholding, and she could feel a warmth seeping from his palms. She wasn't sure if this soothing feeling was just from him, or the Chroma. But it was already nice.

Her cheeks are burning and they colour darkly, but even she doesn't say anything, only squeezes his hand gently as she walks in pace with him.]

[ Samatoki should've probably asked permission first. He feels a little bad, but when she squeezes his hand, he realises that it's fine. She gets Chroma from this and he's helping her—Vietnam truly does benefit from this—and that's what's important.

But then, he stops in his tracks. ]

I don't know where the flower shop is.

[hoasen]

[Truly there is a lot of benefit, considering he would also get the Chroma he just spent for goods and services. But in the end, it wasn't about the Chroma. It's really kind of nice to be able to hold hands like this, and this is coming from someone who is often so reserved.

She looks up at him when he stops.]

I know where it is. It's not too far, we'll just keep walking down this street for now.

[ Oh! It's good that she knows. They can just search the web for the nearest flower shop or something, but Samatoki doesn't have the brain to think that. Then again, it's not too bad to aimlessly walk in the city until they come across a flower shop, right? It's not like they're doing anything bad. . . plus they do have the time.

He starts walking again, tugging on Vietnam's hand so she'll follow and walk next to him. ]

[No need for internet now, just walking around, trying to find the place using muscle memory! Since Samatoki is apparently stupid. A leisurely walk is unexpected but nice, especially since it's actually nice out today, and she's grown to really enjoy his company the more they talk. Including that rap.

As he tugs, she steps to follow, moving closer so that it's easier for them to hold hands.]

Hmm, I believe around two months. That would've been the second moon I've experienced. You're a little after me, I think?

What kinda stuff have you been doing for two months?
