A-actually, it nearly slipped my mind until it crept up on me!

Ya can't just forget that kinda stuff! That's important!

[ Eh, his birthday's fine... other people—the birthdays of the people he cares about? They're very important!! ]

Are you at home? I'll meet you there.

[hoasen]

Well, I didn't think at the time...so I'm sorry if I left it so last minute.

[HIS BIRTHDAY IS IMPORTANT TOO.]

I am. I'll wait for you?

[coasts]

Ah.. y- yeah. I'll come to you.

[ Though it'll take him like half an hour because while he's dressed already he has to get her a present and flowers... ]

[hoasen]

O-okay. I'll see you soon.

[Now she's freaking out, because she has to get dressed even CUTER because he's coming over and now he knows it's her birthday.

So by the time he arrives, time has passed too quickly for her and she only barely managed to put on an even cuter dress and tie her hair up in blue?!]

[coasts]

[ Samatoki's not good at dressing up. Anybody would agree. He's put on a white button down shirt with long sleeves though, but they're folded up his elbows. His pants are his usual black and skinny, form-fitting, and his shoes are the usual leather. There's nothing different with what he's wearing except he isn't in a hawaiian shirt.

He stops by a flower shop and gets some flowers for her, then a cake. He's in a rush so he just grabs whatever looks nice. If he had his way, he'd make her something on his own, but... maybe he can do that another time. Tomorrow, perhaps.

He knocks on her door, then calls out to her. ]

H- Hey, Sen. It's me.

[hoasen]

[He's handsome in his clothes, she always thought so. It might be a littler rugged, but he tried and that's all that matters. Besides, why change what looks good? (Aside from that hawaiian shirt.) Either way, before she opens her door, she smooths down her dress, adjusts her hair, and then opens.

The fact that he tried his best even with last-minute gifts mean so much to her. After all, she didn't tell him until...30 minutes ago.]

Hello, Samatoki.

[She's opening the door slightly, before widening it to let him in, eyes seeing the gifts her brought and then blushes.]

P-please, come in!

[coasts]

Ah, sure.

[ He's awkward as he enters, but he only takes a few steps in before looking back at her. ]

Happy birthday. I got you some stuff.

[ There's a ribbon on the box of cake which he hands to her. The flowers too. Then he realises she'd have a difficult time holding both at once? Um. He takes both back and just sets them on a nearby surface. ]

... I'll get you some more stuff when I can.

[hoasen]

[She steps aside to let him in, quickly pushing back a strand of stubborn hair behind her ear before she sees how he's handing her the items. She does hold her hands at first, before he changes his mind to put them down.

She brushes her hands again, and clears her throat.]

T-thank you Samatoki! You really didn't have to...it's already nice enough to spend time with you. [AHHHHH WHAT ARE WORDS.] I mean, the flowers are already beautiful! [She picks them up, holds them close.] I'll put them in water!

[coasts]

You're the star for today.

[ He says it calmly now that he's put down her gifts. He'll let her do what she wants with the flowers and the cake. ]

Tell me what you want me to do, and I'll do it for you.

[hoasen]

[Why is he so cute? She's deeply moved even if she was wondering if she should be lowkey today. And then he goes ahead and says this.]

I want to spend time with you. Um.

[She clutches onto the flowers.]

S-shall we share the gift?! [There are a great many things she wants to do with him, and suddenly she's overwhelmed she doesn't know what to say. Samatoki is just so good?]

[coasts]

I'm gonna.

[ They're!! Not!! Dating!! But he likes her a lot. He wants to spend time with her and make her feel special. ]

Oh, yeah, sure. [ he has no idea what flavour it is though gasdlkgshd help him....... ] I hope you like... fruits.

[hoasen]

Then...I'm really glad.

[They're not "Dating" but she sure feels like she's being spoilt! Right now, her heart swells.

Surprise cake flavour time. She shuffles on the spot and nods.]

I do like fruits. That's the cake, no? I think I have a single candle in the kitchen, somewhere...should we light it up?

[Do they do this properly?!]

[coasts]

Yeah, sure. Go get it.

[ He'll light it up with his lighter!! ]

I'll sing for you.

[ And he'll also record her blowing the candle and making a wish! ]

[hoasen]

[Cute...CUTE. What a nice idea! Also, since he's a rapper and she already likes his voice, him singing is already something she's eager for.]

I'll be back!

[And she quickly makes her way to the kitchen to grab a candle, a knife, and some places and forks. Might as well get them all, just in case. She returns shortly after, and places them all on the table, ready to set up the cake.]

[coasts]

[ He has his comms device ready to record by the time she comes back, but he puts it down first to light the candle. ]

Ready?

[ Because he's started recording and also singing! Stay cute for the camera, Sen! ]

[hoasen]

[He's going to record this! Normally she'd be too shy for this but...he's going to sing and he's lit up the candle! It's a memory she would love a momento of, so she lets it happen.

And she can't even help but smile as he sings, that she has to hold her cheeks. Samatoki!]

[coasts]

[ He doesn't stop recording even after he's done singing. ]

Ah. Go and make a wish now.

[hoasen]

[She's deeply moved, but also maybe she's swooning a little at how nice he sings. He's already good at rap, but what is this? It's wonderful.

She clasps her hands before she makes a wish (a secret) and leans forward to blow the candle.]

[coasts]

[ He manages to capture a photo just before the candle gets blown out. It's a really great picture. With that done, he keeps his phone in his pocket and approaches her to give her a headpat. ]

What'd you wish for?

[hoasen]

[She wants to see! But she's also afraid. Hmm.]

Should I really tell you?

[She doesn't mind at all, actually, as she preens when he pats her head. She's just playing a little since she's in such a good mood.]

[coasts]

[ His eyes narrow as he looks at her, a little suspicious. ]

Why's it feel like I shouldn't ask anymore?

[hoasen]

[She quickly shakes her head.]

It's not that. It's just that I wonder if I should tell you my wish at all, since it's a wish.

[Which is probably extra cheesy.]

[coasts]

There some kinda sayin' like that?

[ ARE YOU NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK ABOUT WISHES ]

Some customs says we are not allowed to say. I'm not sure if all of them!
