Riou straightens up stiff as a board when his door cracks instead of being knocked on. He hadn't prepared a trap for the possibility of his door being pulled the wrong way, and immediately goes onto high alert. He's already got the knife from making his steaks with him, so he flips it around into a combat stance for a second until he realizes it's just Samatoki and goes back to a more relaxed one, tucking the knife back into a cover and into his apron pocket then just staring for a moment. ]
